| Steve Patrick is one of the most sought after trumpeters in the Nashville area. Fluent in many musical styles, he has performed and recorded with some of the most notable names in music.
Steve has been on over 1500 recording sessions including albums, film scores, and television. Mr. Patrick can be heard on artist albums such as Matchbox 20, Elton John, Nora Jones, Vince Gill, Larry Carlton, Garth Brooks, Take Six, Brooks & Dunn, Michael W. Smith, Carman, and Jodee Messina.
Steve has performed live with artists such as Maynard Ferguson, Paul Simon, the Dixie Chicks, Randy Brecker, Kenny Loggins, The Temptations, Michael McDonald, Kenny Rogers, Barry Manilow, Patti Austin, The Four Tops, 4-Him, Truth and many more.
Orchestral freelance performances include such noteworthy organizations as the Nashville Symphony, the Knoxville Symphony and the Chattanooga Symphony.
Mr. Patrick can also be heard on publishing media such as Arrangers Publishing, Row-Loff Productions, and Hal Leonard.
Steve received his Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies from Indiana University, where he was a student of David Baker, Dominic Spera, and Bill Adam.
As a published educator, Steve maintains a private teaching studio at his home and teaches part-time at Trevecca Nazarene University, and Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. Several of Steve's students are becoming some of the more established freelance performers in the Nashville area.
